Skilled Immigration

Options

The majority of those with university degrees and an abundance of job experience who make up the global workforce are immigrants. Each year, talented and highly skilled individuals can apply for immigration from nations including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Skilled immigrants looking to start a fresh life in Canada have historically chosen to settle in Canada. Australia welcomes skilled immigrants to settle in its non-regional or regional regions.

We will discuss a few of them as follows:

  • Canada offers express entry and province nominee programs for skilled migration.
  • Australia offers subclass 190 skilled through state nomination, Skilled independent visa subclass 189 and skilled regional (provisonal visa) subclass 489.
  • USA offers H-1B, which is temporary (non-immigrant) potential pathway to obtain a green card (permanent residency). The H-1B visa is not a green card, but i can be a stepping stone to a green card. These visas are for highly skilled people, employer sponsorship is a pre-requisite. Initially, it is granted for three years, which is extendable. It is always helpful for applicants to gain international work experience.
